Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a highly motivated technically competent and experienced Rolling Stock T&C and Quality Engineer, to join our Transit & Rail Systems team.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the Quality Maintenance System with ISO 9001, IRIS, and other industry-specific standards, ensuring all manufacturing processes meet regulatory and safety requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
- Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Address customer concerns, incorporate their requirements into quality planning, and ensure high levels of satisfaction through consistent product quality.
- Develop quality plans for new projects, enhance supplier relationships, adopt advanced inspection technologies, and prepare for certifications like ISO 9001 and EN 15085.
- Review rolling stock related design documents, circuits, ICDs, and other rolling stock documentation to ensure compliance with project specification
- Produce and review rolling stock integration/T&C reports, plans and procedures in compliance with project specification
- Provide weekly/bi-weekly reports/inputs to management to advise on progress, status, and issues
- Coordinate rolling stock activities (design, installation, integration, and T&C) with various project stakeholders
- Develop and tailor processes and procedures to set up and maintain issues-log and other security management tools for different system security programs
- Provide technical advice to Systems Assurance engineers and engage in discussions with system engineers, designers, operators and maintainers to implement the deployment of rolling stock for the clients
- Manage rolling stock programs for different projects within their scope, budget and schedule, in compliance with international standards
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in science or engineering from an accredited university
- 6 years of experience in railway projects
- 6 years experience in Rolling Stock manufacturing and Quality Assurance
Preferred:

Ideally 10 years of experience in railway projects, in Rolling Stock manufacturing and Quality Assurance

Experience in rolling stock manufacturing, installation, integration, and T&C

Experience in interface and coordination with various stakeholders involved in the various stages of deployment phases of rolling stock on a project

Experience and familiarity with the whole system design V-lifecycle as well as experience with transit or rail assurance standards CENELEC EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, EN 50159, TS 50701, IEC 62280 and IEC 61784.

Ability to articulate and advise on rolling stock related issues using risk-informed decision-making framework both at a technical and non-technical level, directly to key customer stakeholders.

Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently, successfully balancing business and client priorities.

Ability to provide high-quality deliverables under pressure and reach tight deadlines and manage client stakeholder expectations.

Experience in using DOORS or other requirements management tools and their application in rail transit or other infrastructure project environment.

Job Description
