#Our expectations
Reporting to the Director, Business Processes & Systems – Demand and Allocation, the Analyst, Business Processes & Systems – Demand and Allocation, will drive governance, standardization and optimization across our supply chain planning processes. This role will be responsible for improving and standardizing processes, leading training initiatives as well as automating repetitive task and developing reporting and exception management frameworks. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, process mindset, cross-functional communication skills, and a passion for leveraging technology and AI to enhance supply chain performance.
#Your role
- Map, document, and standardize supply planning processes across business units.
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks to ensure parameter accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Participate in continuous improvement of inventory policies to balance service level and Inventory level.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive planning tasks and reporting activities.
- Design and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor supply performance (inventory health, service level, parameter adherence, etc.).
- Develop automated exception management reports to highlight risks and deviations.
- Actively participate in the development of internal training and lead training activities for users, as needed.
- Develop best practice training tools and materials with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide operational support for a set of systems and applications used within RONA network
- Represent the Demand and Replenishment function for systems maintenance, evolution, and transformation projects to ensure optimal performance and quality of operation.
- Propose solutions to support business processes
- Act as a subject matter expert and head office resource person for the company’s support functions
#The qualifications we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration (operations, logistics, supply chain), engineering, or a related field (required)

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role. An asset if in the supply chain sector
-
Experience in the retail industry, within a large national distributor or transport / logistics service provider (an asset)
-
Knowledge of SQL language and power query.
-
An asset if experience building dashboards and automated reporting.
-
An asset if experience in parameter governance and inventory optimization
-
Demonstrated ability to connect with stakeholders and build collaborative processes, as well as mobilize and coach peers.

Critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

Proactive approach, willingness to question existing processes and propose new solutions

Sense of organization and thoroughness

Proven track record of performing tasks efficiently, on time and under pressure, as well as effectively managing priorities in a rapidly changing environment

Demonstrated ability to use (and/or learn to use) technical solutions, such as demand planning systems, as well as business analysis tools

Demonstrated ability to work with teams from all levels of the organization and various functions in a complex environment

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels of the organization and with all business units to persuade and lead others in difficult situations

Experience with Blue Yonder JDA (an asset)
