As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a Strategic Change and Implementation Specialist .

The Strategic Change and Implementation Specialist plays a pivotal role in executing key strategic initiatives within the credit union. This position supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of organizational transformation while ensuring alignment with the credit union’s goals and values. As a trusted partner across departments, the Specialist fosters collaboration, promotes consistent communication, and ensures a structured approach to change management. The ideal candidate is passionate about driving positive transformation, engaging stakeholders, and supporting the organization’s continued growth and success.

The Specialist develops and manages implementation plans, facilitates workshops and meetings to monitor progress and address challenges, and designs change management strategies that promote adoption and minimize resistance. This includes conducting impact analyses, assessing readiness, and delivering training initiatives to ensure successful and sustainable outcomes.

Preferred Candidates Will Possess The Following Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Project Management, or a related field (required).
  • Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in change management, strategic planning, or project implementation.
  • Experience in financial services, credit unions, or other regulated industries is considered a strong asset.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, MS Project).
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $64,144 - $72,162

Location: Within Northern’s existing regional footprint
