Girl Guides of Canada is actively seeking a Provincial Projects Administrative Assistant ( Contract -12 months) Remote work environment (Must be based in Ontario) About This Opportunity Reporting to the Regional Manager, Ontario and Quebec, Provincial Projects Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and logistical support for provincial projects and programs, including event coordination, subsidy and fundraising administration, and member communication. You will assist with creating promotional materials and ensuring inclusive policies are applied across all communications and processes.
In This Role You Will
- Provide support to provincial business as usual functions by assisting the Provincial Projects Coordinator or volunteer teams with project logistics, communications and on-site support as requested.
- Assist with Provincial Program Challenges, including the creation of challenge materials and program launch materials using Canva.
- Support the administration of subsidy programs and fundraising requests.
- Provide administrative support to various projects including but not limited to; awards (both adult and youth), membership pins, and volunteer membership renewal process.
- Provide ongoing support to members and event registrants by monitoring multiple email inboxes.
- Understand how to apply organizational policies regarding inclusivity to provincial projects and event processes, communication, and customer queries.
- Apply organizational policies regarding inclusivity to content, member communication and customer service.
General
- Adheres to all relevant policies, procedures, and practices.
- Provide general, ongoing support to members/volunteers, responding to/directing inquiries and consulting with the appropriate groups and individuals to support the mission and vision of GGC.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Related degree or diploma (Business Administration, Event Management, Volunteer Management) or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years’ experience working in an office environment.
- Demonstrated computer software proficiency with MS Office; Office 365, Canva and intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, OneNote and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
- High accuracy and attention to detail required for data entry, allowing for low error rate and speed.
- Ability to set priorities, manage time and meet deadlines.
- Flexible to travel as required.
Hiring Range : $41,300 - $48,740/ Annual
