What to Expect
Tesla Toronto Automation is looking for an Engineering Administrator to support our design, manufacturing, and engineering teams by managing parts, BOMs, and documentation in the M1 ERP system. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless coordination across engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and logistics to maintain accuracy and efficiency in our processes.
What You'll Do

Manage entry and maintenance of purchase, manufacturing, and electrical components in M1, including creation and updates of mechanical and electrical BOMs

Support engineering by revising parts, releasing components to purchasing/manufacturing, and maintaining accurate part and assembly records
-
Coordinate with design, inventory, and manufacturing teams to implement ECNs, ensuring all parts and assemblies are at the latest revision
-
Prepare and organize engineering drawings and documentation for mechanical and electrical assemblies
-
Support spare parts orders by preparing quotations, creating POs, and coordinating shipments with inventory, purchasing, and logistics
-
Evaluate change impacts in WIP and inventory, track modifications in M1, and communicate status updates to project management

Maintain a high level of organization and accuracy while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment
What You'll Bring

Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Experience with ERP/MRP systems (M1 experience preferred)

Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
