What is the opportunity?
As an associate in the Madrid office, you will Support the marketing and execution of M&A, debt, equity and other financial advisory services.
What will you do?
- Assisting in execution of mandated deals
- Assisting in preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials
- Gathering public information through numerous sources
- Creating financial model analyses
- Generating discounted cash flow models and other models for valuation metrics
- Building company forecast models
- Drafting marketing documents such as Confidential Information Memorandums for financings and/or sell-side assignments
- Producing and maintaining various databases
- General research
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
- University degree or equivalent
- Investment banking experience or equivalent
- Demonstrable Investment Banking transaction experience and a comprehensive understanding of the valuation approaches typically used
- Experience in preparing infrastructure and/or energy valuation models from scratch
- Hardworking, enthusiastic and professional work ethic
- Sound judgement with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and develop relationships with clients at all levels
- Teamwork approach with colleagues
- Strong analytical skills (financial modelling) with high attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer software skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
