About The Role

As an iOS Engineer at Neo Financial Technologies Inc., you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that power Neo’s digital banking, payments, rewards, and financial services platforms. Your role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, QA specialists, and other stakeholders to create seamless, secure, and user-friendly mobile experiences. You will focus on building scalable iOS applications, enhancing mobile performance, and delivering innovative features that facilitate effortless financial management for millions of users across Apple devices. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or have equivalent practical experience. You should have at least three years of professional experience in iOS application development, demonstrating proficiency in Swift and modern iOS frameworks. Experience with deploying applications via the Apple App Store is essential, along with a solid understanding of iOS architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or VIPER. Familiarity with integrating REST APIs, SDKs, and third-party services is required, as is knowledge of mobile security standards, performance optimization techniques, and accessibility compliance. Candidates should be well-versed in Agile/Scrum methodologies and possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Additional preferred skills include experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, mobile UI/UX development, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and a background in fintech or digital banking environments.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining iOS applications using the latest Apple development frameworks. You will build secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile experiences aligned with Neo’s financial products. Collaborating with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams, you will deliver innovative features that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested Swift code following best practices is crucial to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will also be responsible for integrating mobile applications with REST APIs, GraphQL services, and backend platforms to enable seamless data flow. Optimizing app performance, reliability, responsiveness, and battery efficiency will be key objectives, alongside implementing robust security practices such as authentication, encryption, and data protection. Participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions will be expected, as will troubleshooting and resolving production issues across various iOS devices and OS versions. You will contribute to automated testing, CI/CD workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives, staying current with emerging Apple technologies and recommending enhancements to development practices.
