Position Overview: This position is responsible for handling a variety of parts sales duties including telephone and walk in parts sales orders as well as all facets of the parts ordering system.

Job Description: Major Job Functions:

  • Responsible for inventory integrity and accuracy in 2 locations
  • Promote and demonstrate safe work practices
  • Completing tasks that are assigned by supervisor/management
  • Sourcing Cat and Non Cat parts and managing backorders
  • Assist leadership and provide training and guidance to team members to ensure KPIs are met
  • Responsible for Warehouse Snapshot. Keep aged red data to a min. by timely investigation and resolving inventory and customer order discrepancies.
  • Monitor customer and shop orders over 15 days
  • Monitor virtual locations
  • Monitor incoming DOs and POs
  • Resolve any put away and picking errors
  • Maintain all core holding locations
  • Keep Will call and HTC locations/ Orders up to date. Contact customers for verification and providing updates
  • Monitor customer and shop orders over 15 days
  • Inventory Counts: Create counts, investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Ensure monthly cycle counts are complete and goals are met
  • Verify parts locations integrity
  • Warehouse Mapping
  • Investigate and resolve any shipment discrepancies including CAT, non-CAT, and internal branch shipments
  • Work closely with buyers and planers to level low turning parts/ inventory
  • Responsible for all returns such as CAT factory return and Rapid returns
  • Complete Scrapping and and any stock LVL orders
  • Supply ordering
  • Support MSA (Process freight, Pick orders, Assist customers, Deliver parts to shop, Load/offload trucks)
  • Credit releases on orders

**Candidate selection will be based on previous experience, skills and knowledge and in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement**

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Parts certification
  • Previous experience working with customers and ordering parts
  • Previous experience with inventory and data analysis
  • Caterpillar parts product knowledge is an asset
  • Experience working with Lawson, Service Information System (SIS) / Technical Marketing Information (TMI), Procure IT and Antares, CMIS, Parts Viz, Antares
  • Team orientated with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
