Currently seeking Snowshoe Guides for the 2025/2026 winter season. Successful applicants will be physically fit, enjoy being outside in winter, and be able to walk with snowshoes for two hours, twice daily.
Snowshoe Guides will be provided with a uniform and a Big White season pass; however, they must provide their snowshoes and walking/hiking poles.
Guides must be available for one to two shifts of 2.5 - 4.5 hours per week, with additional shifts pending weekly staff rotation. Tours will leave the VCM (Village Centre Mall) twice daily at 10 am and 1 pm. Two-hour tours will consist of a combination of on and off the trails, pending the fitness levels of the client(s). Class sizes typically range from 1-4 clients. Training on the local flora, fauna and animal tracks, plus tours of the trails, will be provided.

Cross-country skiers and snowshoers can choose from 25 kilometres (16 miles) of Nordic and dog-friendly wilderness trails, while families can add tubing, dogsledding, snowmobiling, ice-climbing, horse drawn sleigh rides, and skating to their winter holiday.
