The Inventory & Warehouse Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective inventory management processes across multiple sites. This includes establishing inventory control systems, warehouse procedures, and reporting frameworks to ensure accuracy, visibility, and accountability of all materials, equipment, and consumables.
The role will also oversee daily warehouse operations, including supervision of warehouse attendants, shippers/receivers, and other materials handling staff. This position is key to transitioning from ad-hoc inventory tracking to a structured, data-driven system that supports project delivery, cost control, and operational efficiency. The Inventory & Warehouse Manager will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive value, reduce risk, and ensure seamless execution of procurement activities, while demonstrating IREN’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
Job requirements
Required:
- 5+ years’ experience in inventory, materials, or warehouse management (preferably multi-site or project-based environments).
- Proven experience implementing inventory control systems or software.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and/or ERP or inventory management tools.
Preferred:

Experience in construction, energy, or industrial sectors.

Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems.

Certification in inventory or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPIM).

Ability to manage change and implement new processes in developing environments.
Job responsibilities
Process Design & Implementation
- Develop and implement standardized inventory and warehouse management processes across all company sites.
- Work with key stakeholder for implementation and expansion of appropriate inventory management tools or systems (manual or digital) suitable for current and future needs.
- Establish best practices for material receiving, storage, issue, and return processes.
- Create documentation, SOPs, and training materials for site staff.
Inventory Control & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of materials, parts, tools, and equipment across multiple sites.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits.
- Develop reporting dashboards for material usage, stock levels, and reorder requirements.
- Identify opportunities to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess or obsolete stock.
Warehouse Operations & Team Management
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including material handling, receiving, and shipping.
- Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse attendants, shippers/receivers, and other support staff.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards within warehouse facilities.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse layouts, labeling systems, and storage solutions.
- Coordinate logistics for inter-site transfers, vendor deliveries, and equipment movements.
Collaboration & Support

Work closely with procurement, project management, and finance teams to align inventory management with purchasing and project needs.

Support forecasting and budgeting through accurate inventory data.

Train and mentor site personnel involved in inventory and warehouse tasks.

Partner with IT or systems teams to integrate inventory processes with company systems (e.g., ERP, SAP)
