Medavie Health Services New Brunswick (MHSNB) is the subsidiary of Medavie Health Services responsible for the optimal operation and management of EM/ANB, an integrated organization specializing in the delivery of primary health care services with the goal of facilitating access to quality care so that patients can achieve better health outcomes. Medavie Health Services New Brunswick is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as Director, EMP Eastern Operations . Reporting to the Vice President, Extra-Mural Program Operations, you will oversee the operations of the Eastern Region (Moncton, Tantramar, Shediac, Kent).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the following units: Blanche Bourgeois, Kent, Shediac, Driscoll and Tantramar
  • Supervise program operations, fostering teamwork and motivating staff to meet goals aligned with home care and community needs.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an optimal home healthcare and services in collaboration with frontline providers, departments, and partners.
  • Support managers with operational tools and lead the oversight of a standardized performance and quality management system for the Eastern region.
  • Assess and optimize human resource utilization to enhance EMP performance and prepare for future growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure coordinated service delivery across the continuum of care.
  • Promote collaboration, innovation, and integration with community agencies to meet population needs.
  • Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and person-centered care.

What You Bring

  • Proven leadership experience in healthcare operations.
  • Expertise in home healthcare service delivery, with a strong understanding of the New Brunswick landscape.
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed, multi-program environments, including unionized settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Knowledge of business development, planning, and project management.
  • Active membership in a relevant professional licensure association.
  • Post-secondary education in health sciences or a related field; preference given to candidates with business studies.
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
