ABOUT THE ROLE
With a passion for service towards tenants/residents, the site manager is accountable for meeting occupancy targets while ensuring the provision of outstanding support and services which promote quality of life and enable tenant/residents to age within the community
WHAT YOU WILL DO

Service Excellence: Promotes service excellence through the planning and implementation of tenant focused services and by working with community agencies which provide the required support and services

Financial/documentation: Accurate, comprehensive, and timely processing and documentation of tenant/resident data and related financial transactions and responsible for maintaining annual operating budget for the site. Maintains targeted occupancy rates at all times.

Leadership: Ensures a high-performance customer service-oriented culture through leading, developing, and coaching employees.

Pro-active Learner: Demonstrates commitment and understanding of the relevant work practices, policies, applicable legislation, internal and external resources required to be successful, as well as capacity to stay abreast of changes.

Teamwork: Cares for and works cooperatively with others as an effective team member.

Safety: Contributes to a safe environment for tenants/residents, the team and self by understanding and adhering to safety guidelines and practices at all times.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Minimum five years progressive experience within the field of property management – preferably with subsidized or affordable housing operations
- Two years’ experience with senior populations
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated customer service abilities
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Yardi and related applications
- Familiarity with the Residential Tenancies Act an asset
- Building Operator Certificate an asset
