About The Role We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing Salesforce applications to meet the specific needs of our clients. This role involves designing and implementing advanced Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, fields, workflows, Lightning components, Apex triggers, and approval processes. The developer will collaborate closely with Salesforce administrators, IT developers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of Salesforce applications. The role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce Lightning Experience, Field Service Lightning, and integration capabilities via Salesforce APIs. The successful candidate will take ownership of release cycles, ensuring timely deployment of updates and new features, while adhering to best practices in development and documentation.
Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in Salesforce development with relevant certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce FSL, or Salesforce Platform App Builder. Additional certifications in JavaScript development or Field Service Lightning are highly desirable. Candidates should have proven experience in Apex programming, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and integrating Salesforce with third-party systems such as DocuSign, Conga, and Outlook. Strong understanding of Salesforce security, scalability, and limits is essential. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Developing and customizing Salesforce applications through advanced configuration such as creating custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, workflows, Lightning components, Apex triggers, and approval processes.
- Implementing and maintaining Field Service Lightning solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements.
- Designing and developing Apex classes and triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components, and Aura Components based on project specifications.
- Creating user interfaces that enhance user experience and facilitate business processes.
- Integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems using Salesforce APIs and maintaining these integrations for optimal performance.
- Collaborating with Salesforce Administrators and IT teams to validate business requirements, security considerations, and scalability constraints.
- Supporting release cycles by deploying updates, bug fixes, and new features in a controlled and efficient manner.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation for all custom development activities and writing test classes to ensure code quality and coverage.
