The Supply Chain Specialist serves as a vital operational link within the Feed Nutrition Export function, facilitating seamless coordination between sales, marketing, production, and logistics teams. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the efficient and timely movement of goods and services through the supply chain, supporting both domestic and international export activities—especially in key markets such as Asia and the United States. This position is deeply involved in global logistics planning, export documentation, and collaboration with international carriers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry and Management: Accurately enter, maintain, and verify supply chain data across multiple systems, including ERP platforms. Responsibilities include processing sales orders, updating shipment schedules, and tracking product movement to facilitate smooth departmental coordination and timely decision-making.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivables: Support financial operations by processing invoices, reconciling payments, and ensuring prompt transactions for both domestic and international customers and suppliers. Tasks include verifying billing accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with finance teams to maintain clear and accurate records.
  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor inventory levels at production and distribution points to ensure product availability aligns with demand forecasts and shipping schedules. Conduct regular audits with production teams to identify stock discrepancies and resolve them.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate domestic and international logistics operations, working closely with carriers and partners to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Customer Support: Deliver responsive and effective service to internal and external customers, including international clients in Asia and the U.S., ensuring seamless communication and timely issue resolution across diverse time zones and cultural contexts.

Industry Insight and Operational Expertise:

  • Familiarity with agriculture or supply chain operations is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in order management, logistics coordination, and/or transactional processing.
  • Knowledge of international export procedures, including documentation and regulatory compliance, is considered an asset.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in supply chain management, agriculture, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and data management tools.
  • A solid understanding of international trade regulations and export documentation is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across cultures and time zones.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base compensation for this position ranges from $20.91 to $27.84 per hour. Please note that wages may vary depending on skills and experience.
