Responsibilities:
The Fleet Coordinator, based in Edmonton and reporting to the Director of Equipment & Logistics, will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our light fleet management and supply chain processes. Precision and logistics expertise are vital for this role as this position contributes to our commitment to excellence in fleet coordination.
- Oversee distribution of projects light fleet
- Closely monitor the fleet needs of each project.
- Working with field operations management to source the most feasible options for replacements.
- Handling all correspondence and negotiations with suppliers.
- Receives, reviews, and expedites requisitions.
- Developing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining supply chain management strategies that increase the efficiency and speed of supply operations.
- Consult regularly with suppliers and field operations.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team for fleet repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
- Updating registries with fleet renewals, new plates, and plate cancellations.
- Insurance reconciliation for current and new vehicles.
- Monitoring costs and staying within allocated budgets.
- Implement operational policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with internal departments to identify and close any operational gaps.
- Reading and analyzing reports from supervisors and other employees.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred).
- At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience coordinating light fleet.
- Intermediate to advanced skillset in utilizing MS Office, with a particular focus on Excel and Outlook.
Skills:
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure, meeting stringent deadlines.
- Exemplary organizational abilities, adept at managing multiple concurrent priorities.
- Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
- A desire to make a difference and take pride in your work.
- Collaborative communication style.
- Strong knowledge of rental markets
