Overview Join our team as a Recruitment Coordinator! If you’re passionate about finding top talent, coordinating seamless hiring processes, excel in administrative duties and making a real impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you! This is a fully onsite position.
Responsibilities The Recruitment Coordinator reports to the Recruitment Team Lead, supports Human Resources staff and hiring managers with recruitment and recruitment administrative activities. The Recruitment Coordinator will be the primary contact with candidates for certain roles regarding career opportunities at Canadian Kraft Paper.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, industry-specific platforms, and networking events, to attract potential candidates while adhering to union guidelines and industry regulations.
- Union Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices are in accordance with collective bargaining agreements, union regulations, and labor laws, maintaining open lines of communication with union representatives.
- Candidate Evaluation: Conduct initial candidate screening, interviews, and assessments to identify candidates who align with our values, skills, and experience requirements.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Support diversity and inclusion initiatives in the recruitment process, ensuring equal opportunities for all candidates.
- Employer Branding: Support the team to foster and promote a positive employer brand that resonates with prospective candidates, highlighting our company's commitment to employee welfare and career growth.
- Onboarding Support: Collaborate with HR and department managers to facilitate the smooth onboarding process for new employees, including orientation and relevant training.
- Metrics and Reporting: Regularly track and report key recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of hiring strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- The incumbent must possess an appropriate post-secondary HR, business or related field certificate, diploma or degree, experience at a senior administrative level would be an asset.
- 3-5 years’ experience of the recruitment and selection processes.
- An effective communicator, with strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Strong customer focus to serve the needs of the business, hiring managers and candidates.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Experience with data collection, reporting and metrics.
- Knowledge of talent acquisition systems including recruitment management and on-boarding an asset
- A commitment to professional development to remain current with legislative, contractual, legal obligations and requirements and technological advances.
