Life at ATB is about more than work. In fact, we’re consistently recognized as one of Canada's top employers thanks to our high-care, high-performance culture, upheld by the three commitments we make to our team members:

Impact in action: No matter where you are in the organization, you're empowered to make an impact in the lives of our clients and communities.

Ready for tomorrow: We want to enable your success through interesting and challenging work, performance enablement, and learning and development.

About the role

As ATB’s next Senior Data Analyst you will be responsible for developing reports and dashboards, resolving data issues, and migrating our functions to new platforms. You will play a foundational role in transforming and managing data, optimizing data workflows across Google Cloud Platform, developing analytics tools, and ensuring the operational integrity of data pipelines and reporting systems. This role is crucial for expanding the use of data and analytics in this growing business area.

This position will be integral in developing capabilities for both leadership and bankers to make data-driven decisions by ensuring data quality and delivery. You will also partner with other members of the Data team to develop key analytics and dashboards that support a core element of ATB's value proposition.

The ideal Senior Data Analyst candidate should possess a strong understanding of GCP, data integration, data visualization, and business knowledge within the banking industry. A combination of strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and business acumen is essential for this role.

Please note this is a temporary 12 month opportunity.

  • Banking KPIs and Metrics: Develop KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) relevant to the banking sector and visualize them through Tableau.
  • Advanced Analytics: Perform complex data analysis on banking datasets to display trends such as loan defaults, fraud detection, and customer churn.
