Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Retail Project Specialist to manage, drive and oversee the coordination of all phases of new and current store projects. This includes openings of NAPA stores across Canada and renovations of existing showrooms. This role is critical in ensuring projects run smoothly from financial planning through execution and post-project support, maintaining confidentiality and delivering results on time and within budget.
Project Financials
- Establish and manage detailed project budgets, placing orders and monitoring expenditures to ensure adherence.
- Collaborate with Regional Operations to resolve budget deviations
Project Planning
- Coordinate project meetings with stakeholders across Operations, Marketing, DPR, and DC replenishment.
- Track action items and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
- Manage vendor deliveries and logistics coordination with NAPA.
- Develop contingency plans for potential risks.
- Schedule and quote external labor; monitor daily hours for invoicing and SLA compliance.
- Create AutoCAD floor plans and collaborate on product and planogram placement.
- Prepare orders and follow up with vendors for store fixtures, graphics, signage, and window films.
- Coordinate with replenishment teams to ensure timely product orders and deliveries.
Post-Project Support
- Schedule and oversee store team training modules.
- Manage deficiency lists and corrective action plans.
- Lead post-mortems to ensure process adherence and identify improvements.
Special Projects

Lead NAPA changeover and special projects with confidentiality and strict control of budget, scope, and timeline.

Manage compressed execution timelines including exterior branding and permit securing under local bylaws.
Qualifications
Qualifications:

Three (3) to six (6) years of project management experience coordinating on-time deliveries in complex or interdisciplinary settings.

Experience delivering complex construction projects and managing city permits (asset).

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD design required.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external clients across Canada.

PMP Certification (asset).
