Job Title: Porter - Cleaner
Location: Nanaimo, BC
Shift: Part Time, Permanent, 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 5 pm to 9 pm )
Wage: $18 /hour

About the Role:
We’re looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space! This is a part-time opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service – keeping our communities safe & sanitized.
What you’ll be doing:
- Cleaning the food court are, chairs, tables and doing the trays.
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
- Sanitation of all touch points to ensure the health and safety of community and staff
- Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
- Other duties as required or assigned by the Manager
You have:
- The eligibility and ability to obtain all applicable security clearance(s) including but not limited to Criminal Background Check and Reliability Check
- A willingness to work and learn
- Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
- Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
