Position Highlights
We are looking for a creative, collaborative, and experienced Learning Designer to join our Claims Learning team. As the successful candidate, you will have a foundational understanding of instructional design models that produce impactful, measurable results to support ICBC initiatives, strategies and ourpurpose to Move All Forward.
Position Responsibilities

Use core instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create immersive learning experiences.

Design, develop and maintain eLearning, instructor led (in-person and virtual classrooms), videos, and other support materials (such as job aids and workbooks).

Partner with Learning Specialists in the development of engaging activities and assessments and learning modules.

Collaborate with subject matter experts across the organization to develop content.
Position Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Knowledge of learning best practices, methodologies and assessment for various learning modalities.
- Familiarity with audio and video recording, eLearning authoring tools, and publishing platforms (previous experience with Adobe Premiere or Articulate Rise would be an asset)
- Ability to write and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
The above requirements would typically be acquired through post-secondary education courses in a relevant discipline or previous experience in instructional design.
