The role

You will join a team of five skilled colleagues, who run the core business functions — including risk, finance, performance, capital management, compliance and system administration. You will develop your technical and business skills while doing lots of analytical work within performance and risk management that will create valuable insights to support decision making from a backwards and forward-looking perspective.

You will work 15-20 hours across two working days per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your studies (especially during exam periods) and other priorities.

Your tasks will be to:

• • Support colleagues with analytical work mainly using Python and Excel
• • Translate large and complex data sets into clear business decisions that support decision-making, primarily with a focus on market risk exposures and performance drivers
• • Create and maintain insightful dashboards in Power BI
• • Contribute to the development of scalable and efficient reporting processes
• • Support cross-team projects across areas such as market risk exposures, strategy and hedge performance evaluation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (2nd or 3rd year) or a master’s degree
• • Strong academic performance in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or a similar field
• • Python, SQL and Excel skills

• • Market risk understanding
• • Stress tests using statistical methods to uncover both risks and opportunities
• • Creating reports in Power BI and other reporting tools to facilitate decision making
