Project Manager (Land Piling Projects) - North Vancouver
Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per annum

Our client is part of a locally owned BC company with more than 100 years of history in the construction industry. Specializing in foundations, ground Improvement, and shoring. They bring a legacy of quality and innovation to every project, aiming to deliver exceptional results for both new and existing clients. Their expertise includes large-diameter piles, DTH drilled piles, screw piles, ground improvement techniques such as stone columns, timber compaction piling, and shoring services like sheet piles, cofferdams, combi-walls, and h-pile lagging systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day leadership for ground improvement and piling projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards Develop, manage, and regularly update construction schedules to maintain progress, coordinate resources, and achieve key project milestones Administer and negotiate contracts, change orders, revisions, and other commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to align schedules, responsibilities, and project requirements Monitor job costs, profitability, forecasts, and financial performance, providing accurate information to accounting and senior management Serve as the primary client contact, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and support business development and future project opportunities Plan and coordinate the effective deployment of labour, equipment, materials, and other project resources Provide technical direction, mentorship, and support to junior staff while completing field assignments as required Identify and address project risks, operational challenges, and potential delays before they affect delivery Promote and uphold high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance throughout all phases of the project
Qualifications / Requirements
University degree or diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering. P.Eng., EIT, AScT, or CTech registration in British Columbia, or eligibility for registration, is an asset. 5 years of project management experience with geotechnical engineering experience. Proficiency in ground improvement techniques, foundations, earth retaining structures, and driven piles. Solid experience in contract management, scheduling, and financial aspects of projects. Familiarity with obtaining government approvals and trade standards. Strong project management, communication, and time management skills.
