About the role
This is a part time 34 hour/week permanent position which includes days, afternoons, overnights, and weekends. The shifts can range from 7, 8, or 12 hours in length. Full G license and personal automobile insurance required. Experience and education required (see full requirements below). The pay range is $26.36 - $31.24. TRANSITIONAL SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL
Transitional Support Professional (TSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Transitional Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.
As part of the clinical duties, the Transitional Support Professional may be required to provide reports on clinical interventions. They liaise with clinical professionals, collect appropriate data, and actively carry out appropriately prescribed programs & treatments to address the clinical, behavioural and/or mental health needs of people supported by Karis Disability Services.

Requirements:
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Access to reliable transportation
- minimum 1 year working in Developmental Services
- Educational requirement of Developmental Service Worker or apprenticeship actively in process, Child and Youth Care Diploma or apprenticeship actively in process, or Diploma or Degree in a Related Human Services Field.
