About the role
Job Description:
On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a will work with the Truth and Reconciliation and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (TREDI) department, as well as other business units, to execute a series of small to mid-size projects. These projects range from implementing a system to anonymously report bullying, discrimination, or harassment to building processes to ensure equitable access to training across the organization.
Responsibilities:
•Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans using appropriate tools, such as Microsoft Project.
• Manage project resources, budget, schedule, quality, risk, issues, and changes using best practices and standards.
• Identify the most appropriate delivery approach (waterfall, scrum, hybrid) for each project phase or workstream and lead the team by facilitating the necessary methods and ceremonies.
• Ensure projects adhere to corporate standards and policy requirements.
• Communicate project status, progress, issues, and risks to project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members regularly.
• Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, workshops, reviews, and ad hoc presentations as needed.
• Ensure project deliverables meet the requirements and expectations of the project sponsors and stakeholders.
