As the Recruitment Coordinator , you’ll make an important first impression to candidates while communicating who we are and why we’re a great company to work for. You will help us attract and find great talent by preparing job advertisements, interviewing applicants, and onboarding new hires into the company.

This position is a temporary maternity leave coverage (18 months), based at our corporate office in St. Catharines, ON..

Job Duties

  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements as well as collect and screen applications
  • Source candidates using traditional and creative recruitment techniques including online portals, social media and other current web-based employment strategies
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Create an exceptional candidate experience throughout every stage of the interview process and help them envision their possibilities with Commercial Cleaning Services
  • Pre-screen candidates and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Conduct interviews to determine best fit for positions
  • Develop and design employee branding postings for our social media and communication channels
  • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers, business partners, and stakeholders
  • Organize and maintain electronic and paper-based employee files
  • Maintain and update manual and computerized HRIS and Recruitment Tracking systems
  • Compile and analyze HR data/analytics to identify trends, patterns, and best practices

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience in a high volume environment
  • Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources or a related field
  • CHRP designation or in process an asset
  • Knowledge and understanding of employment legislation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive, friendly mindset and ability to collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong judgement, discretion and attention to confidentiality
  • Aptitude to learn new software programs
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Preference will be given to candidates with multi-lingual abilities (Spanish /Portuguese)
  • An artistic eye and creative mindset will be considered an asset
  • G Class Drivers’ Licence
