Job Description:
Major Job Functions
- Disassembly and assembly of CAT Parts and Components including (but not limited to): drives, brakes, transmissions, pumps and valves
- Perform a wide variety of part and component inspections, including working with Caterpillars reusability guidelines
- Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
- Complete technical documentation (service reports, inspection add sheets, etc.)
- Interact with internal and external customers
- Work with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as required
Specific Skills & Experience

HET certification preferred
-
Ability to manage time and priorities
-
Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract
-
Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail
-
Previous repair and troubleshooting experience with Caterpillar general line products would be considered an asset
-
Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
-
Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset
NOTE:
- 3rd or 4th Year Apprentices MAY be considered
- Relocation and other allowances/bonuses may be available
