The Opportunity

Join Gibbons Whistler as a Front Desk Manager at the Adara Hotel and become the face of hospitality in the heart of Canada’s top mountain resort. This leadership role is all about creating seamless guest experience from pre-arrival to post-departure, whilst coaching, supporting, and inspiring a front desk team to deliver 5-star service every single day.

You’ll be at the center of operations, building strong guest relationships, managing revenue opportunities, and ensuring every experience reflects The Gibbons Way.

What you bring to the table :

  • Proven leadership in hospitality, ideally 2+ years in a Front Desk, Guest Services, or Hotel Management role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a passion for leading people
  • A natural ability to create memorable guest experiences from arrival through departure
  • Solid financial and scheduling acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and labor targets
  • Relationship-building skills to connect with community partners, universities, corporate groups, and wedding planners
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A guest-first mindset and the drive to grow with Gibbons Whistler

Your days will look like:

  • Lead, schedule, and support a high-performing Front Desk team
  • Deliver 5-star guest service from pre-arrival to post-stay follow-ups
  • Own the guest journey—warm welcomes, seamless stays, and memorable farewells
  • Execute atmosphere and service checklists with excellence
  • Recognize, coach, and develop team members through regular one-on-ones
  • Manage labor targets, budgets, and schedules to hit performance goals
  • Collaborate with Pricing and Offerings Managers to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Build strong community and partner relationships to grow business visibility
