About the Role
As an Account Manager, you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships and ensuring they get maximum value from our services. You'll work closely with our vCIOs and senior team to learn the IT services business while developing your skills in account management, client retention, and account growth. This role is ideal for someone who's customer-focused, naturally organized, and excited to grow their career in technology services.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders
- Conduct regular check-ins and participate in business reviews alongside our vCIO team
Account Growth & Retention
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across IT services, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions
- Ensure high client satisfaction and proactively address concerns
- Manage renewals and contract lifecycle
- Develop your skills in account growth with mentorship from our senior team
Service Coordination
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams (Service Desk, Projects, vCIO)
- Help ensure timely resolution of issues and overall service delivery quality
- Monitor account health, performance metrics, and SLA adherence
Reporting & Administration

Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and account plans

Track engagement, opportunities, and customer activity

Prepare reports and presentations for clients and leadership
What You Bring
-
1+ years of experience in account management, preferably in an MSP or IT services environment
-
Genuine warmth and ability to build rapport with clients
-
Strong organizational skills and follow-through
-
Curiosity about technology and willingness to learn IT services from the ground up

Comfort with structured processes, CRM tools, and documentation
-
Confidence to have direct conversations, including difficult ones with clients

Excellent written and verbal communication
Nice to Have

Background in IT, MSP, telecom, or technology services
-
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, cloud services, or general IT concepts
-
Exposure to B2B sales, account management, or customer success

Knowledge of ITIL or service delivery frameworks

Microsoft, cybersecurity, or sales certifications
