Position Summary:
This position will focus on our product and factory production planning requirements, while releasing production plans and working with the Planner/MRO buyer to update purchase orders to Delta-Q’s contract manufacturers and Tier 2 suppliers. This role will lead discussions for planning with Finance Analyst team and provide analysis reporting on inventory and demand of our product and accessories. The successful candidate understands the importance of team collaboration, effective communication, and attention to detail.
Specific Duties:
- Create and submit for approval all CM forecasts for monthly process working with the Finance Analytic team.
- Create and present the MPS summary monthly once all forecasts are approved for summary of analysis.
- Works with regional sales leads on sample requirement updates.
- Work to review inventory reduction strategy options and present to management.
- Plans and replenishes products and accessories for all SKUs at multiple warehouses based on sales demand forecast and customer firm orders.
- Attends required internal meetings on sustaining projects.
- Works with NPI buyer on new products to align demand planning.
- Work with team on Accessory quoting and maintaining price file.
- Updates and maintains all factory planning files.
- Analyzes orders to forecast and reviews sales demand planning requirements.
- Supports material shortage activities to support production as needed support for Supply chain and commodity managers.
- Creates and submit for approval the Reserves files quarterly for finance submission.
- Drives continuous improvements and automation where possible.
- Backup for the Planner/MRO buyer as needed.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Relevant education in Operations Management, Planning, Purchasing or equivalent.
- Previous experience in Planning and/or Purchasing experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with analytical tools
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Proven experience working within deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with Sage 100 or SAP would be an asset

Benefits
Base Salary: $68,000 - $80,000 per year plus bonus.
The compensation offered will be determined by experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
