Company Description Robinson Outreach at Rivercross Ranch (ROARR) is a charitable organization dedicated to empowering individuals through equine-assisted programs and activities. Our mission focuses on addressing and preventing challenges faced by at-risk youth, as well as improving the well-being of the elderly. By providing unique learning and therapeutic experiences, ROARR creates a supportive environment that fosters personal growth and positive change. Role Description We are looking for a competent, personable and experienced candidate to fulfill a full time role located on our Ranch site for an Office Administrative Assistant. The role involves performing a variety of day-to-day administrative tasks, including maintaining office organization, handling correspondence, managing schedules, processing documents, and upholding professional communication with stakeholders. The role is an important piece to our team and will include additional tasks such as clerical support, data entry, and assisting executive staff with administrative needs to ensure smooth office operations. You will work with all the team leads to provide them support in the execution of their programs.
Qualifications Strong administrative and clerical skills, including organizing files, managing schedules, and maintaining documentation Proficiency in administrative and executive assistance, including managing calendars and coordinating meetings Excellent communication and personable phone etiquette skills to interact professionally with stakeholders, staff, volunteers, and donors. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively We are an Apple environment, however proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, One Drive, Sharepoint) and other relevant tools is mandatory. Understanding of Donor Perfect, Canva would be an asset; but can be taught on site. Knowledge of horses is not required. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in completing tasks Preferred: Previous experience in a non-profit, community-focused, or similar organization High school diploma or equivalent required, with additional qualifications in administration being an asset. Remote work is not an option, this is an in-person position; working with the team on site Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week. Compensation to be discussed; we are a living wage organization.
