About White Point Beach Resort
An iconic beach resort on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. We have been welcoming families, friends, couples and year-round groups for over 90 years.
We're a year round oceanfront beach vacation destination on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. Perched along a 1km white sand beach on the Atlantic Ocean within 700 acres of pristine natural beauty, generations of White Pointers and guests have retreated to the beach here. While the oceanfront and oceanview cottages with woodburning fireplaces tend to be the most saught after accommodatins, there are a variety of guest rooms, vacation homes and RCI Gold Crown Vacation Cottages as well.
Nestled within the UNESCO Southwest Nova Biosphere Reserve, boasting the most extensive recreation program and amenities available in Nova Scotia, guests enjoy the beach, freshwater lake with Boathouse complete with paddle boats, canoes, kayaks and even surf lessons. Tennis Courts, shuffle board, outdoor and indoor pools, games room, fitness centre and spa ensure everyone will find something they enjoy.
Kids love the daily complimentary schedule of fun, as do adults! Wine Tastings, culinary classes, surf lessons, yoga, meditation, and more are available throughout the year. Of course, the beachside bonfires, mussel bakes and s 'mores are popular with all ages.
Our oceanside perch continues to be a preferred location for meetings, retreats and conferences. While many prefer to offer their teams/delegates the oceanviews of the Atlantic Room or Crow's Nest, others seek intimate and private space offered at Lakeside Retreat with a beachstone fireplace. Famous for our 'unscheduled' agenda time experiences, it's really where the 'magic' happens, folks bond, connect and strengthen as a unit - over a bonfire, yoga class, or a team building scavenger hunt!
