Our team The Project Management Services unit offers a comprehensive range of services designed to assist Health and Social Services in identifying, planning, and implementing IT-enabled projects and initiatives. Among its many responsibilities, the unit also houses the Home Health Monitoring (HHM) program, delivering remote patient monitoring support to Yukoners.

This opportunity As a part of Project Management Services, the Business Analyst ensures that the project and its deliverables are in alignment with the department’s goals and objectives. As a senior technical resource, the Business Analyst will provide leadership in the development of needs assessments, feasibility studies, business cases, specifications, market research and user acceptance for assigned projects.
The Business Analyst works on medium to large-scale acute-care, long-term care and community health projects and major corporate projects, which support program needs and improve service delivery.

- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Health Informatics or relevant program of study
- Significant experience eliciting and documenting business requirements using tools such as data flow diagrams, business process model and notation (BPMN) diagrams, use cases and entity relationship diagrams
- Experience leading users through user acceptance testing including writing user acceptance tests and plans
- Experience contributing to market research activities
- Experience with procurement activities is considered an asset
