We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Shipper/Receiver based out of Sudbury, ON location (1300 Lorne Street, Sudbury, ON, P3C 5N1).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and process incoming shipments accurately and on time
- Verify products are correctly identified, labeled, and undamaged in accordance with company procedures; report receiving discrepancies
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup
- Move inventory to designated storage and put-away areas efficiently
- Coordinate and schedule incoming shipments to support smooth warehouse operations
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts
- Assist with scheduled physical inventory counts
- Provide back up support to Counter & Inside Sales staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 or more years of experience in a warehouse setting, preferably an industrial setting
- Experience with hand tools and warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklifts, etc) strongly preferred
- Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive approach to all tasks
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Effective time management and punctuality
- Superior organizational skills
- Team player who is ready and willing to jump in to support
- Basic level or higher knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel)
