We are a people-business with a strong focus on safety. Teamwork guides us to engage and sustain long-term relationships with our employees and customers. We are currently seeking a qualified Office Administrator for our Oshawa, ON location based out of the General Motors site.

The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the department. This role will be responsible for organizing schedules, maintaining records, supporting departmental initiatives, and serving as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

*** Please note this is an 18-Month Contract based position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the team.
  • Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and prepare related materials.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems (digital and physical) and ensure confidentiality of information.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations as required.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new team members and coordination of training sessions.
  • Support special projects, meetings, and department initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Overtime Equalization experience considered an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
