We are seeking a customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to support the team at our NEW location in Moncton, NB.
What You Will Do:
- Uphold and embody FGI Customer Service Standards and Core Values with customers, colleagues and stakeholders
- Champion FGI's safety culture by performing all duties within established procedures and practices
- Travel to customer locations within assigned territory. (Up to 75% travel time)
- Engage with current and new customer orders
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Forecast and develop potential sales plans for all customers
- Provide reporting on accounts outlining customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Review new product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends as they are released
- Participate in training programs that vendor, sales other professional development areas.
- Conduct industry related presentations
- May deliver parts to customer locations
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Require:
- Valid class 5/G license with 5 years of Canadian driving experience required
- Driver’s abstract with no major infractions in the last 5 years required
- 3-5 year's sales experience in an outside sales position preferred
- Excellent customer service skills - Dedicated to exceeding the expectations of external and internal customers
- Strong communication skills – Confident in delivering clear and detailed information to customers and team members
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and technology – Able to learn in-house systems
- Heavy duty parts knowledge or background in a related industry is an asset
- Proficiency with multiple languages is an asset
