Ophthalmology Research
The Ophthalmology Research is currently looking for a Research Assistant II. This position provides hyperspectral data analytics support to research projects at a basic level. Tasks may include collecting and recording hyperspectral data, processing of data with statistical programming, and updating standard operating procedures and tutorials for research.
Duties & Responsibilities**:**
Performing hyperspectral image acquisition
Conducting data analysis with statistical software
Presenting results to lab members and collaborators
Preparing and maintaining standard operating procedures and tutorials for image acquisition and analysis
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Medical Physics is required.
Basic computer coding skills, particularly in MATLAB, Python and R
Demonstrated knowledge of scientific terminology in biomedical imaging
Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills are necessary
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to learn new skills
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner and flexibility to adapt to changing workload
