Responsible for setup, operation, general maintenance of a MIG welder, periodic quality checks and measurements, documenting completed work whilst ensuring a clean work environment. The operation and setup of general shop equipment to meet the demands of production will be required from time to time.

Day shift Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm - schedule may vary accordingly to workload (Overtime)

Responsibilities:

When your actions lead to success:

• Perform MIG production welding operations as part of a larger team
• Ensure the quality of all welds by way of visual and physical inspection of materials
• Adhere to plant floor safety protocols and safety procedures outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
• Measure and fit the product into the appropriate building sequences according to the project drawings
• Support maintenance activities
• Maintain a tidy and efficient workspace
• Standing, walking, grasping for 8 hours/day
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to humid and noisy environment
• Repetitive tasks

Qualifications:
