As we scale, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Consultant and Program Manager to join our team and lead client engagements across industries.
Role Overview
In this senior consulting role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading key strategic IT and cybersecurity projects while overseeing the success of our recurring CIO and CISO Programs. You’ll manage teams, guide projects from intake through execution, and ensure the consistent delivery of value for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage client CIO and CISO Programs, ensuring adherence to frameworks, KPIs, and quality standards.
- Oversee and mentor a team of consultants, driving program execution and client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, including onboarding new engagements and presenting executive-level reports.
- Direct multiple IT and cybersecurity projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
- Provide strategic IT consulting, including assessments, business cases, and IT strategy/budget planning.
- Contribute to practice growth by scaling programs into new clients and industries.
Performance Expectations
- By end of probation: deliver a 90-day action plan, demonstrate mastery of CIO/CISO Program frameworks, and achieve 60% billable utilization.
- 2026 targets: 70% billable utilization, $2M–$3M direct revenue responsibility, management of 8–12 clients and a team of 4–6.
Qualifications
- 10–15 years’ experience in IT consulting or senior technology leadership within SMB/professional services.
- 5+ years in program/project management or governance roles.
- Proven track record as lead consultant on strategic projects.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or Business (graduate degree preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, CISA, CISM, CISSP, PMP, MBA, TOGAF, CMC).
- Strong communication, presentation, and business case development skills.
- Broad IT and cybersecurity knowledge across solutions and regulated environments.
- Passion for client service, team leadership, and mentoring.
Compensation
- Salary Range: C$125,000 – C$135,000 annually (dependent on skills and experience).
