In this role, you will :
- Prepare suppliers’ invoices for processing.
- Process accounts payable invoice batches, including supplier invoices, cheque requisitions, and travel expense claims.
- Communicate with internal staff and external vendors on queries and resolve problems relating to invoices or payments.
- Collect backup documentation for transactions as requested by internal staff or auditors.
- Support other Red Cross initiatives, as needed, to ensure a coordinated team effort in order to meet the needs of the most vulnerable in the community.
What we are looking for :
- At least a secondary school diploma with one to two years of post-secondary education in business administration, finance or a related field, and two years of finance or accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication skills in English (and French is an asset).
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset.
- Demonstrated computer skills of MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment in order to meet deadlines.
- Professionalism and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team and build positive internal and external relationships.
- Attention to detail and proven ability to problem solve as required.
