We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA) to facilitate delivery for multiple courses. The GTA will work closely with the instructor to coordinate and manage logistics, ensure a smooth program flow, and provide general support to program participants.

Available positions for:

  • JSGS 807| Statistics for Public Managers |The Teaching Assistant will assist with the preparation of instructional materials for each class and support the grading of assignments and tests.
    Preference will be given to candidates who have completed JSGS 807 (Statistics) or who possess a strong understanding of the course content.| Dr. Justin Longo
  • JSGS 882| Strategic Management in the Public Sector|The Teaching Assistant will support course delivery through a range of academic and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of instructional materials for each class, leading tutoring sessions to help students prepare for assignments and tests, and supporting the grading of assignments and exams.
    Ideal candidates will have completed JSGS 882 or possess a strong background in Strategic Management. Strong writing skills are essential, as the role involves assisting the instructor with reviewing and evaluating student work.|Dr. Justin Longo & Sessional Instructor
  • JSGS 830 AB| MHA Residency II | **Provide support for the residency. The student must be able to provide support during class Excursions and for the weekend of theIn-Person Residencyon College Avenue Campus on June 5th, 6th, & 7th. Technical experience running the classroom software (zoom, etc) and managing groups will be necessary.| Marlene Smadu

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Zoom
  • Prior experience in event planning, logistics coordination, project management, and hybrid event delivery are strongly preferred
