The Finance Business Partner, FP&A, Medical is responsible for the financial planning and analysis activities supporting the medical team, including budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting. This role partners closely with medical leadership, cross-functional teams, and senior management to deliver financial insights and strategic support for medical initiatives. The Finance Business Partner drives financial processes and guidance to align with the operational and strategic priorities of the medical function. This role reports to the Planning Controller.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary FP&A partner to the medical team, providing financial insights and decision support for medical initiatives.

Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes for the medical function.

Review and analyze financial performance, prepare variance explanations, and identify risks and opportunities.

Prepare financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for the medical team and executive stakeholders.

Ensure policies and controls are followed, supporting compliance across all FP&A activities.

Collaborate with medical, commercial, and corporate finance teams to align strategies and share best practices.

Recommend process improvements and system enhancements to streamline FP&A support.

Prepare ad-hoc analysis and participate in cross-functional project teams as needed.

Communicate financial implications and guidance to all levels of management.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance and/or Accounting
- Ability to work well as part of a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, with ability to work independently
- Ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Experience with large scale ERP and planning systems such as BPC and SAP preferred.
The role requires a presence in office minimum 3 days per week.
