POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Recruitment Coordinator to join our team at Rockport Investment Group. In this role, your primary mission is to drive the talent acquisition lifecycle for our Rockport Commercial Construction division. You will actively hunt for top-tier construction talent through LinkedIn profiling, executive search mapping, cold outreach, and major job boards.
Your secondary focus is providing critical administrative support for core corporate HR functions, including payroll data entry, benefits tracking, and employment agreements. This dual-focus role is ideal for a proactive individual eager to blend high-impact recruitment sourcing with foundational corporate HR administration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment & Sourcing
Source passive candidates by reviewing and mapping profiles on LinkedIn. Utilize major job boards including Indeed, CareerPlug, and ZipRecruiter to find and engage talent. Assist with executive searches to identify high-caliber talent for key roles. Conduct initial cold calls and outreach to gauge candidate interest. Research unique hiring options and alternative platforms to expand candidate reach. Post job openings and manage candidate applications across multiple platforms. Screen incoming resumes and coordinate all interview scheduling. HR Administration
Prepare employment agreements and ensure all legal documentation is accurate. Support onboarding processes by collecting and inputting new hire paperwork. Assist with payroll processing by entering data and updates into Payworks. Coordinate benefits administration and address basic employee inquiries. Maintain digital employee files ensuring strict compliance and data privacy. QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources or a related field is highly preferred and considered a strong asset. High school diploma required. Proven experience in an administrative, recruitment, or HR support role. Strong talent acquisition skills including digital sourcing and profile screening. Familiarity with job platforms such as Indeed, CareerPlug, ZipRecruiter, and LinkedIn. Comfort making cold calls and initiating direct candidate outreach. Familiarity with employment contracts and onboarding documentation. High attention to detail for accurate data entry in systems like Payworks. Excellent communication skills for professional candidate and internal interaction. Class 5 Drivers license and reliable vehicle.
