We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Vice President of B2B Marketing to lead our Client Services function . This role sits at the intersection of strategy, client leadership, and revenue growth, responsible for building deep client partnerships while delivering marketing programs that drive measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking, operational rigor, and team leadership, with a proven ability to grow accounts, inspire high-performing teams, and translate business objectives into impactful marketing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Growth
- Serve as the senior strategic partner for key client relationships, building trust at the executive level
- Lead account growth through proactive identification of opportunities across services, channels, and capabilities
- Drive revenue expansion, retention, and overall account health across the portfolio
- Guide clients on business and marketing strategy, grounded in data, insights, and industry trends
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Oversee the development of integrated marketing strategies aligned to client business goals
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, insight-driven programs across digital, content, media, and demand generation
- Partner with strategy, creative, and performance teams to bring ideas to life
- Elevate the role of marketing as a driver of business impact, not just outputs
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing client services team
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and career development opportunities for team members
- Build scalable team structures and processes to support growth
Operational Excellence
- Oversee account operations including forecasting, resourcing, and profitability
- Ensure consistent delivery against KPIs, timelines, and client expectations
- Implement best practices in account management, reporting, and client communication
- Collaborate with finance and leadership on revenue planning and performance tracking
New Business & Thought Leadership
- Play a key role in new business development, including pitch leadership and proposal development
- Contribute to agency positioning, thought leadership, and market presence
- Stay ahead of industry trends and bring forward innovative ideas to clients and internal teams
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong background in agency or client services leadership
- Able to work a hybrid schedule (3 days a week) in the Toronto office
- Proven track record of managing and growing large, complex client accounts
- Deep understanding of integrated marketing, including digital, content, and demand generation
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L and driving revenue growth
- Exceptional leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and executive presence
