Responsibilities Our priority is to make sure we hire professional customer service representatives that care about the safety of our drivers and the service provided to the community. As a Dispatcher with us, your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and manage driver routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient commercial waste collection across multiple service lines.
- Monitor daily driver progress, provide real-time updates and route adjustments, and resolve service-related issues to maintain high standards.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, internal teams, and customers via phone and email to address inquiries, concerns, and special service requests.
- Oversee route planning and major geographic changes within the Trux operating system, including daily route closing and maintenance.
- Collaborate with operations and field teams to optimize service delivery, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Track fleet performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Respond to customer inquiries and service disruptions, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining positive relationships.
- Support a team-oriented environment, working closely with seven operations staff and a field team of 30+ drivers to drive continuous improvement.
What We Need From Our Dispatcher
- 1+ years of experience in a high-volume dispatch or logistics environment.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with dispatching software and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
