Join us! Our team is looking for a Maintenance Technician (Non-Ticketed) that supports the day-to-day operation of the plant by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing preventive maintenance activities. This role plays a key part in reducing downtime, supporting production teams, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Wage Range: $25-$30/hr. depending on experience.

DUTIES:
- Detect, troubleshoot, and report equipment irregularities and malfunctions to minimize production downtime.
- Assist in the installation, repair, and overhaul of machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and support corrective maintenance activities as directed.
- Participate in developing and completing preventive maintenance inspections in compliance with HACCP, JSA, and SOP standards.
- Support work related to refrigeration, hydraulics, vacuum systems, fabrication, and basic electrical tasks as needed and under the guidance of licensed technicians.
- Assist with PLC-related tasks under the guidance of licensed technicians.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to support maintenance activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace and follow all safety protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Maintenance experience of at least 2 years required.
- Experience working in the food manufacturing/processing industry is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams.
- Basic working knowledge of computers, electronics, and PLC technologies.
- Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and always work safely.
- Note: A trade ticket is not required for this role, but relevant technical experience is essential.
