Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)
As the Lead Auditor, the incumbent will co-ordinate and conduct internal audits within the organization in accordance with the applicable Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Audit Ground Transportation System - Management System (GTS MS) processes to ensure planned activities are met, implemented, and managed in accordance with the documented policies, procedures, and instructions. Maintain country-level tools that support GTS MS implementation.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide recommendations for improvement with respect to Quality Systems, processes, and standards.
- Solicit the organization for improvements.
- Resolve all findings to satisfactory resolution in due time.
- Provide guidance and training as it applies to the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Plan and coordinate Country-level shared service audits.
- Participate in and may lead Country and Site auditing.
- Deliver audit training.
- Plan audit activities to ensure established ISO Standards and other Contractual standards are met and maintained.
- Conduct internal audits at all unit locations to assess the degree of compliance with established procedures.
- Prepare timely reports, analyze audit results, and identify non-conformance trends.
- Submit and manage audit findings to timely closure.
- Coordinate and implement Process Implementation Verification System (PIVS) activities.
- Support the PIVS administrator role for country operations.
- Coordinate the preparation, review, and update of all Chorus Canada documentation.
- Maintain and communicate the Internal Audits website.
- Maintain required compliance matrices.
- Generate monthly metrics on audit performance, audit reports, and identify trends.
- Provide recommendations for improvements to the quality management system.
- Support external audits as required.
- Provide data trends to support Annual Management Review and maintain audit schedules.
Key Requirements:
-
Post-secondary education.
-
10+ years of experience as a Lead Auditor
-
Practical Audit experience in Software engineering background
-
Familiarity with the following standards:
- ISO 9001:2008.
- ISO 14004:2004.
- OHSAS 18001:2007.
- ISO 27001:2022.
-
Lead Auditor certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth work experience with Quality Standards.
- Significant experience with Quality Management System requirements.
- Proficient understanding of soft- and hardware engineering processes is an asset.
