Are you a passionate veterinarian with strong leadership skills and a vision for advancing medical excellence? We are seeking a Medical Director to lead two well-established practices: Merritt Animal Hospital and Dresden Veterinary Clinic. This unique role offers the opportunity to shape the future of veterinary care while mentoring a talented team of professionals across two vibrant communities.
About The Role As Medical Director , you will:
- Set and uphold the highest standards of medical care across both hospitals.
- Mentor and coach veterinarians and support staff to achieve clinical excellence.
- Collaborate with hospital managers to drive operational success and client satisfaction.
- Oversee medical protocols, surgical quality, and patient outcomes.
- Contribute to community engagement and represent the clinics at local events.
- Provide hands-on veterinary care, including consultations, diagnostics, and surgeries.
What We’re Looking For
- Provincial DVM licensing, or eligibility to be licensed in the province of Ontario.
- Minimum 5 years of proven clinical experience with a strong foundation in small animal medicine and surgery.
- Leadership experience or a passion for guiding and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and advancing veterinary standards.
