Position Summary The Digital Commerce Junior Graphic Designer will create visually compelling, conversion-focused design assets across Samsung’s dotcom and Shop App experiences. This role sits at the intersection of brand expression, product storytelling, and e-commerce execution, producing both net-new creative and localized/variant assets across multiple product categories and platforms.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, fluent in digital retail environments, and comfortable balancing creative design with precision execution and visual QA. This role requires strong design fundamentals, a solid understanding of digital performance principles, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. Experience within consumer electronics and/or digital commerce platforms is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design clear, engaging, and conversion-optimized visual assets aligned with Samsung’s brand guidelines across dotcom and Shop App channels.
- Produce a wide range of digital commerce assets, including product visuals, promotional and offer-driven creative, display banners, email assets, and supporting on-site graphics that enhance customer understanding and drive conversion.
- Interpret creative briefs, brand guidelines, product information, and campaign requirements to fully understand business objectives and execution needs across categories.
- Develop net-new creative as well as localized, adapted, and variant assets to support regional, promotional, and platform-specific requirements.
- Review and validate visual elements—including pricing callouts, promotional offers, legal supers, and disclaimers—to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance prior to delivery.
- Execute visual QA and refine assets produced by internal and external partners to maintain brand standards, layout integrity, and design quality.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including copywriters, creative leads, marketing, merchandising, UX, and product teams to ensure alignment with campaign and commerce goals.
- Manage multiple design assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as a graphic designer in digital commerce, e-commerce, or performance-driven marketing environments.
- Demonstrated experience designing for dotcom, mobile apps, or digital retail platforms.
- Strong understanding of conversion-focused design, visual hierarchy, layout systems, and product storytelling.
- Experience with consumer electronics and/or major digital retail platforms (e.g., Samsung, Best Buy, Amazon, or similar) is a strong asset.
- Background working agency-side and/or in-house; familiarity with both is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when working with promotional offers, pricing elements, and legal or compliance-related visuals.
- Strong design QA skills with the ability to uphold brand standards and visual consistency across large volumes of assets.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting quickly to changing priorities, and working independently.
- Familiarity with digital delivery systems, asset management workflows, and localization processes is a plus.
- Basic experience with motion or video adaptation (e.g., resizing, supers, disclaimers, aspect ratios) using tools such as Premiere Pro or After Effects is an asset.

Salary range: $47,000 - $53,000 CAD annually
Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and certifications
Work Arrangement This role is a fixed-term contract for a period of one (1) year, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.
While this position follows a hybrid work model, with three (3) days in-office (Tuesday through Thursday) and two (2) days work-from-home (Monday and Friday), during business requirements, needs, client deadlines, you may be required to be in office on all 5 days.
