Pay Range: $65,000 - $95,000

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role will support the HR function at the Store Support Centre (SSC) in the areas of staffing, associate development, claims management, reporting, and other administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the HRBPs and Talent Acquisition to support recruitment and the offer process for SSC positions.
- Support the SSC HR team with writing and compiling offer packages and entering new hires in WorkDay.
- Support the HRM with coordination of mid-year or annual review processes and reporting.
- Coordinate and distribute associate service awards and assist with other recognition programs.
- Support HRBP and business functions with the ACA process.
- Support the onboarding process with HRBPs, including sending welcome emails, scheduling check-ins, orientation support, and other new-hire onboarding tasks.
- Prepare associate anniversary certificates and coordinate distribution with various business functions.
- Support Success Sharing letters and events at SSC.
- Assist the HRBP leadership team in supporting the Open-Door policy to ensure positive associate relations.
- Support the HRBP team with WSIB/WCB administration and reporting.
- Maintain employee records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing and distributing paperwork.
- Coordinate the Orientation program, including scheduling new associates and presenters.
- Support the HRM in ensuring all HR programs and processes are current and regularly communicated to all associates.
Experience / Knowledge Required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.

Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Knowledge of and adherence to Home Depot policies and procedures.
-
1-year leadership experience (considered an asset).

Excellent organization, time management, and deadline management skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization.

Passion for people and a commitment to doing what is right for associates and the organization.

Ability to quickly build relationships and establish rapport.

Exceptional customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
