We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central consultant to help us build a stronger, smarter and more scalable finance function. Over this five-month engagement, you will work directly with our Controller and Finance team to transform how we manage workflows, reporting, consolidations, intercompany transactions, projects, fixed assets and new entities.
You will be expected to get into the system, make decisions, configure solutions, test them, document them and help our team confidently carry the work forward after the engagement ends.
The foundation you build will support Enfinite’s future growth, acquisitions and operational expansion.
What You Will Accomplish
By the end of this engagement, Enfinite will have more consistent financial processes, clearer governance and a Business Central environment designed to scale.
Your work will include
Automating workflows and approvals You will design, configure and implement approval workflows for accounts payable, purchasing and delegation of authority. You will also establish clear governance and administration standards, then train the people who will manage the workflows going forward.
Building a scalable consolidation and intercompany framework
You will create the structure needed to support accurate and efficient multi-entity reporting, including consolidation company configuration, intercompany accounting, elimination processes, consolidated reporting and month-end procedures.
Redesigning the Chart of Accounts and dimension strategy
You will develop a future-state accounting structure that improves operational, financial and management reporting. This will include reporting hierarchies, standardized coding, dimension governance and planning for future entities and acquisitions.
Standardizing entity configuration and financial governance
You will review accounting configurations across Enfinite’s entities and establish consistent standards for posting groups, posting setups, inventory configurations, account structures and system governance.
Creating a repeatable model for acquisitions and new entities
You will build a practical setup template that allows Enfinite to onboard future acquisitions and legal entities more efficiently. This will include accounting configurations, Chart of Accounts and dimension deployment, integration requirements and reporting standards.
Improving project accounting
You will design and implement project accounting standards that give the business better visibility into costs, approvals and performance. This will include project setup requirements, cost tracking methodologies and reporting templates.
Optimizing fixed asset management
You will implement and standardize Enfinite’s fixed asset processes within Business Central, including asset classifications, reporting, controls, workflows and supporting documentation.
Throughout the engagement, you will document key decisions, transfer knowledge and leave the Finance team with systems and processes they can confidently own.
What You Bring
You have deep experience working within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and understand how finance teams actually use the system. You can move comfortably between accounting requirements, system configuration, process design and practical implementation. You ask good questions, challenge assumptions respectfully and know when a solution is becoming more complicated than the problem requires.

Extensive experience implementing or optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central finance modules Strong practical knowledge of accounting processes, controls and financial reporting Experience with multi-entity accounting, consolidations, eliminations and intercompany transactions Experience redesigning Charts of Accounts and dimension structures Experience developing finance workflows, approval processes and governance frameworks Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, new entities or ERP standardization initiatives The ability to independently lead a finance transformation project from design through implementation Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and data Clear communication, sound judgment and strong documentation habits 3-5 years of progressive accounting, ERP implementation or finance transformation experience A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field is preferred. A CPA designation, equivalent professional designation or comparable accounting experience would be an asset. Knowledge of IFRS is also valuable.

This engagement will require a balance of independence and collaboration. You will be trusted to take ownership of the work, while partnering closely with the Controller, Finance team and other stakeholders whose processes connect to Business Central.
